Shelena Smith

Born and raised in Richmond, Ca Shelena found her love for music and Journalism at a young age. She would always watch Barbara Walters with her grandmother and listen to music with her father who was an avid collector of Vinyl Records. Shelena attended Call State Hayward University in Hayward, Ca (now Cal State East-bay) where she obtained a degree in Mass Communications. Shelena went on to pursue a career in Cosmetology before landing her first radio position at 1640 AM KDIA Christian Radio located in Richmond, Ca. Under the mentorship of Clifford Brown Jr (Program Director) and owner of Brown Radio. While there, she was not only a radio personality but she also learned how to produce a show, edit, run commercials and do voiceovers. After 6 years with KDIA, Shelena with her former business partner Iva Lewis formulated an artist management company called Ishe Entertainment. There she helps manage and cultivate local Artists in the Bay Area. The company was dismantled in 2015 when Ishe Entertainment Artist group member of Divilusion Julius Fowler ( Erb Doc) passed away. That motivated Shelena to formulate All Hustle No Luck Records to live on a legacy that she help begin.
